No Word on Tintin Finance
Hollywood Reporter has word that the Paramount / Dreamworks split is moving forward amicably with over 200 projects being split or shared between the two companies. However, Tintin is not one of them:
No decisions have been made regarding “Tintin,” which Spielberg is planning to produce and direct. Paramount had put a $130 million offer, including unspecified financial terms, on the table, but that discussion was set aside while the new arrangement was worked out.

What?!?
October 10th, 2008 at 10:17 amHow can they do this to us? They’d better figure it out soon, cause i have more anticipation over this production than anything else they have coming out. They need to focus all attention on the Tintin films!
Tintin in English!? with an American spirit?? i don’t know if this will work. However, i will not consider it as an independent work eventhough Cinema shouldn’t be compared to comics or what we’ve seen about Tintin in videos. Good luck Spielberg.
